PFC Infrastructure Bonds 2011 Buy Back Offer:


PFC will offer buy back of infrastructure bonds allotted under section 80CCF for financial year 2011-2012.There was lock in of 05 years from allotment date and now investors of PFC bonds can opt for buy back.

  1. PFC infrastructure bonds Tranche-1 were allotted on Nov 22, 2011 and buy back date for the same will be 22-11-2016.
  2. If PFC bond holders wish to utilize buy back facility : then then they need to submit intimation advice form to Registrar of issue – Karvy computershare pvt limited, Unit : PFC Bonds Tranche-1(Series-1 & Series -2), Karvy Selenium Tower B, Plot 31-32, Gachibowli, Financial District,Nanakramgude,Hyderabad 500032,A.P. ,India  till 21-05-2016.
  3. If investor want buy back facility then they can tick “Yes” option.If investor do not want to avail buy back facility and wish to continue bonds with offered interest rate of 8.5% then they can tick “No” in buy back intimation form.
  4. Bonds were allotted by issuers in demat as well physical mode.Both type of investors need to provide buy back intimation advice form.
  5.  Investors holding bonds in physical mode : If chose to Buy Back . need to surrender duly signed certificate by registered post with acknowledgement to registrars such as it should reach registrar at least 30 working days prior to buy back date.
  6. Investors holding bonds in demat account: Such investors can only submit buy back intimation advice.
  7. If investors have query : like address change, bond certificate not received, change of bank account no etc…then they can contact issuers  @ email :  buyback2011-12@pfcindia.com / toll free no : 18003454001.

Summarizing Imp dates:

  1. Buy back date : 22-11-2016
  2. Receipt of Buy back advice form at registrars office: Till  21-05-2016.
  3. Receipt of signed bond certificate at registrar office : at least 30 working days before buy back date.

PFC infrastructure bonds were offered at 8.50% (cumulative or annual interest payout as opted by investor) and as current interest rates being offered are lower side, investors have an option to continue till maturity with same rate.

    I have submitted all required documents to IDFC Office, Mumbai by Speed post on 19.1.2017 for refund of my IDFC Infrastructure Bonds (2011-12)-Tranche 1.

    Details of Bonds:
    Registered Folio No. IDD0025870
    Certificate No 25870
    Name of Bond Holder: N J S S S PRAKASA RAO
    No of Bonds: 4
    Distinctive No: 0000101326-329
    Maturity Date : 31.12.2016

    However, i have not received buy back redemption amount till date.

    I have purchased 04 nos of IDFC Long Term Infrastructure Bonds-Tranche 2 bearing distinctive Nos.0000743371-0000743374 on February 21,2011. The Buyback date was February 22,2016.But I had not opted. I want to continue till maturity i.e February 21,2021.Pl. advise

  6. I HAVE TWO IFDC BONDS OF Rs 20,000/= each.
    The 1st one purchased on 21 Feb 2011(Trench-II)Buy back date 22Feb 2016.

    The 2nd one purchased on 30 december 2011(Trench-I)Buy back date 31 Dec 2016.

    In Both cases I have not sent any form or advice to the Registrar till date as I did not receive any form or communication from your office.

    If I want to option for buy back,what is to be done from my side ?
    PLEASE GIVE ME PROPER ADVICE.

      You can contact them through email id provided above.

      I am not sure but I think, you may need to take money back as you have opted for buy back while applying.
      but remember you will not get any interest post 22nd Feb.

      You will need to surrender original bond certificate with cancelled copy of cheque, copy of PAN card.

      First contact them through email or phone.

      1. Hello,
        For demating bonds, You need to approach broker where you have demat account.
        If you wish to convert bonds in to demat mode then nominee of demat account will be nominee of bonds.Else you need to write issue registrars about change in nomination.

      For bonds having buy back date in Nov 2016, first you need to provide them buy back advice till 21-05-2016 and then surrender bond certificate…

          I haven’t seen the certificate but you can sign where space for a revenue stamp is provided……or any where at backside….
          along with signed bond certificate across revenue stamp also provide cancelled copy of cheque n copy of pan card.
