    1. Share trading account can not be used to buy gold / silver through NSEL.
      One need to open separate account(trading and demat) through broker registred at NSEL.

    1. Dear Sir,
      Details are as below:
      1.Account opening charges: One time Rs.350/- for trading and demat account.
      Annual Maintainance charges will be applicable at Rs 350/- per annum for demat account.
      2.Brokerage : 5 paisa / Rs.100 transaction.

      1. Can you more elaborate this Rs.350/-. Is it One time charges means no charges would be levied from 2nd year till life Time? or Is there any AMC from 2nd Year??

        1. There are two accounts –
          Trading account & Demat account.

          As far as Trading account is concerned there is One time account opening fee.
          But in case of demat account charges will be annual.{Above comment has updated to remove confusion.}

          1. Thanks for your concern.

            I had also read somewhere that the Units bought on NSEL can be converted into Physical Coins for all GOLD, Silver and Platinum. Is this true?? And also the answer is Yes, please let me know the charges applicable to convert this Units into Coins.
